It is summer and we are always on a go, as the weather is too nice to miss it. For that reason we are focusing on food, that we can bring with. Today we made some granola bars, and we want to share the recipe with you.
The ingredients are very simple and nothing bad is going in.
- Oats (2 cups)
- Dry figs (1 cup)
- Dry apricots (1 cup)
- Chia seeds (1/3 cup)
- Sunflower and pumpkin seeds (1/2 cup)
- Agave Syrup (few spoons)
Firstly, of course, in our blender we need to blend the dry fruit, together with some agave syrup. It should be smooth and sticky.
Move the granola bar mixture to a big bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
Moving on, spread the mixture over a baking tray and firmly push it down. Quick tip, cover the bottom with oats, so the mixture doesn’t stick.
Let the mixture set a bit by placing it in the fridge for half an hour.
Now cut out the bars, any size you prefer, to create your granola bars. I used some baking paper for the wrapping and secured it with a cute string. You can, again, do it as you prefer, or don’t wrap it at all.
The inside is what matters 🙂
