First Vlog in Slovenian & Happy Moments Winter Photoshoot

1

The last end of the year we set some goals for ourselves. We committed to two videos/blog posts per week and setting up an online store. I can proudly say we stuck to it and succeeded achieving both.

Now with the new year, we are doing a revision of our year and setting new goals. We feel like we learned a lot, had a lot of fun, got closer by working together, but still want some changes. There are not enough “real” people online. And by talking in English we feel like we are not real. Looking back it is sometimes painful watching, as we know each other, and know we would never say something like that if we spoke in our native language.

For that reason, we decided that in the videos, where we film our everyday life or travel adventures we are going to speak in Slovenian. We are still debating whether to write subtitles or not. Please let us know what you think.

That being said here is our first official vlog in Slovenian! *drum roll*

This will also be an introduction to our wedding preparations, which I am planning to do a separate series on.

We are very happy we came across Happy Moments on Instagram. Finding a good photographer was very crucial for us. We wanted to have good chemistry and similar vision with the person taking pictures of our special day. We recommend you to book your photographer well in advance, have a meeting and a “test shooting”. The key point for us was that we really liked the lovely couple behind Happy Moments and that they offered a trial photoshoot.

This weekend was very snowy and we took full advantage of the situation. On Saturday morning we headed to a place called Kamniška Bistrica to catch some snowy snaps. I don’t think any words are needed, take a look at the pictures by yourself.

Hopefully, you enjoyed the lovely photos and our first Slovene vlog.

Talk soon, xx
